“From a fashion story published in Big magazine, featuring a haute couture collection by Dutch designer Iris van Herpen. We first met van Herpen in New York City for a commissioned portrait when she was starting out. It was her first trip to New York; the Met had just acquired one of the couture dresses. We connected with her again in Amsterdam and collaborated on a fashion story and video, featuring designs from her archive. We shot the story at Le Sentier des Halles, a small club in Paris that offers musical and comedy acts for its clientele.”
