"I had known Laurel Lupo, an amazing makeup artist, for many years before photographing her daughter, Cassia on a fluke one day when a model didn't show. At the time, I had an obsession for vintage bathing suits and found that I had the perfect model in Cassia. I discovered Palace Costume and began frequenting the Hollywood warehouse scouring their world famous vintage bathing suit and hat collection. Over a two year period, Laurel, Cassia and I spent many relaxed and laughter-filled afternoons in an expansive garden photographing timeless images for Palace's promotional materials."
